Bisons tie it up, 17-17

JMU getting homered a bit by non-home refs.

5 false starts on the RT! Wow!!!

Refs are totally killing JMU on several questionable calls.

Another call that could've gone against the bisons. JMU coach calls TO just before the snap, crowd is loud tho, and ndsu RDE tees off on the JMU QB. No flag.

Agreed- offense wasn't blocking and he kills the QB!

Yeah that roughing the passer was an awful call.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

JMU with the ball and a 3 point lead with 9 minutes left. They need to find some offense this half. If they can, they've got a shot to win.

And they do! Big run by Abdullah, and then a TD pass.

27-17 JMU with just under 7 minutes remaining.

JMU won NC in 05? 04? If I remember right, they beat UM?

If I see one bison player crying, I'm going to lose it.

Good luck to whoever gets JMU in the final (EWU?). That's the only team that could go into Fargo, not play perfectly, and still win.

Yes and overcome the refs, IMO. Every questionable call went against JMU tonight.

I agree. NDSU got bailed out a lot on penalties. They did last week too.

The run is over. Impressive five consecutive NCs. I talked to a NDSU fans several years ago at a conference and told him to enjoy the moment because it would come to and end. He said he realized that but the fans expected that they would win it every year. It will be a depressing off season in Fargo.

Awesome that NDSU ran into an incredible buzz saw team in James Madison... it's about time somebody took them down. That being said, NDSU is loaded next year and will probably win it all again.

It's a little early to say that. No doubt they're loaded with talent, and their defense should be better with the return of 2 all Americans from injury... but the ceiling for their offense is fairly low as long as Stick is their QB.
